Opening Doors: Navigating the Moroccan Market Through Collaboration with Acció

With the aim of expanding our horizons to new markets, we have focused on the North African region, with a particular emphasis on Morocco. As we seek new opportunities and establish broader business relationships, collaboration with Acció, the Agency for Business Competitiveness of the Government of Catalonia, has been crucial in opening the doors to this dynamic market.

Our relationship with Acció has gone beyond a simple association; it has been a strategic alliance that has played a fundamental role in our success in Morocco. This agency, dedicated to boosting the competitiveness of Catalan companies internationally, has brought its expertise in market research and analysis, being an essential element in understanding the complexities and opportunities that this country offers.

During our visit to Casablanca, we had the opportunity to personally meet both clients with whom we were already working and potential new clients. The visits to different factories were not only informative but also essential for a more accurate selection of client needs, both in terms of production and logistics. This has allowed us to offer products more appropriately, adapting to their specific requirements.

A valuable part of our experience was the immersion in Moroccan culture, allowing us to see firsthand the differences in doing business compared to our experience in Southern Europe. Learning about cultural nuances and differences in negotiation practices has been crucial in establishing deeper and more effective relationships with our clients in Morocco.

Furthermore, we have perceived that, as traders, we have a great opportunity to expand in this market. Cultural similarities and logistical facilities have given us a relative advantage compared to other countries in Northern Europe. This realization motivates us to continue exploring this opportunity-rich market and strengthen our collaboration with Acció to achieve our continued success in Morocco. At the same time, we cannot forget our experience with InterlogChile in the business relationship with some Latin American countries, which is crucial for our adaptation to the new Moroccan market.
